The owner’s husband — a general contractor — left his career to work in the family business full time, and his eye for design is extraordinary. Every year there’s something new and stunning. Walking through Maravilla Gardens today feels like stepping into a wedding wonderland.
And I mean that literally. The venue has a distinct ceremony site, a separate cocktail hour area, and then — when they open the gates and guests walk down into the reception space with the tables, the catering, the lights — it genuinely takes your breath away. I’ve seen it hundreds of times and it still gets me every time.
I also have to share one of the funniest moments of my 29-year career, which happened right there at Maravilla Gardens. Just before the ceremony started, I handed the rings to the best man and said — keep these in your pocket, and when I call for them, hand them to me. Simple enough, right?
Well, about ten minutes into the ceremony, the best man suddenly takes off sprinting from the ceremony site. I mean full sprint. My first thought was that he was sick — it’s rare but it happens — and I just kept going. Six or seven minutes later he comes sprinting back, slides into his spot, and the ceremony continues. Nobody knew what happened until after the wedding. He had forgotten the rings in the groom’s room and had to run the entire length of the venue to go get them. To this day it is one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed in any ceremony I have ever done. The couple still laughs about it. Will You Process our Marriage License?
I offer license processing in both my simple and personal wedding packages. All you have to do is apply and bring your license to the ceremony, where I’ll handle all of the necessary signatures. From there, I’ll mail it to the county clerk’s office within 24 hours of your big day, and you’ll get it back in one to eight weeks.
Do You Officiate Small Weddings?

Can My Children Join in the Ceremony
