Eden Gardens — The Most Romantic Venue in Ventura County
If I had to give an award for the most romantic wedding venue in all of Ventura and Santa Barbara County, Eden Gardens would win without question. The moment you walk through the entrance it’s like being transported to the island of Kauai. Lush greenery and towering trees surround you in every direction. Beautiful white peacocks greet you from private aviaries as you make your way toward the ceremony site. A stunning koi pond with colorful fish swimming lazily through it sits at the heart of the property. Multiple ceremony, cocktail, and reception areas give every couple a setting that fits their vision perfectly.
I always open my ceremonies at Eden Gardens the same way — “Thank you all for flying to Hawaii for this wedding.” It gets a laugh every time. But honestly, it’s not far from the truth. Eden Gardens is the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever been to in 29 years of officiating. Period.
Walnut Grove — Farm Country Magic
Walnut Grove sits right in the heart of Moorpark farm country — surrounded by the sprawling fields of Underwood Farms, one of the most beloved produce farms and pumpkin patches in Southern California. If you want a country feel for your wedding, this is your place.
The ceremony site is a beautiful stretch of green grass beneath sprawling, magnificent trees that create a natural canopy unlike anything you’ll find at a traditional venue. It feels like California wine country — breathtaking views, warm light, and a genuine sense of place.
The bridal cottage at Walnut Grove is also one of the nicest I’ve seen anywhere — a beautiful, private space where the bride and her party can prepare in comfort and style.
I have a story from Walnut Grove that I think about often. Before one ceremony, I went to check on the bride in the bridal cottage. She was in tears — emotional, overwhelmed, convinced she wasn’t going to make it through her vows. I’ve been through this a thousand times. I told her: “I think you’re going to be surprised how calm and at peace you feel when the ceremony starts.”
When it came time for her vows — she was calm, cool, and collected. She felt the relief that the day had finally come. Getting to the front of that ceremony space was the statement: we did it, we made it. And from there, it was all an exhale. That’s what I try to give every couple.

Will You Process our Marriage License?
I offer license processing in both my Essemtial and Your Love Story wedding packages. All you have to do is apply and bring your license to the ceremony, where I’ll handle all of the necessary signatures. From there, I’ll mail it to the county clerk’s office within 24 hours of your big day, and you’ll get it back in one to eight weeks.
Do You Officiate Small Weddings?
I have tackled weddings of every imaginable size and given my all to each of them. I’m ready to design the ceremony that fits your needs, no matter how many people will be in attendance.
Can My Children Join in the Ceremony
